Table airstone
Client: Pesetti
Year: 2011
Field: Product Design
· What?
The Airstone dining table is crafted using the “Mineral Expertise / Look Façade” honeycomb technique by Pesetti in Italy, a master marble craftsman collaborating with top international architects and designers.
· How?
The table features an incredibly thin 3.5 cm black St Laurens marble top, 2.30 m long, resting on solid stone arches combined with a stainless steel frame. Its sleek, futuristic lines, typical of Thomas de Lussac, make the Airstone appear ready to take off like a spaceship.
The St Laurens marble, sourced from Languedoc, is renowned worldwide for its fine, durable polish. Its density and deep black color enhance the table’s light, almost arachnid-like appearance.
Dimensions: 2.30 x 1 x 0.73 m
