clôtures et grilles en métal
Client: Metalco
Year: 2013
Field: Product Design
· What?
Fences and railings are elements rarely reimagined by contemporary architects and designers, despite growing concerns about security. Designer Thomas de Lussac was commissioned by Metalco to explore new creative approaches.
· How?
The first concept, “Waves Fence”, creates an optical illusion of movement through the juxtaposition of rounded metal pieces.
The second concept, “Crop Circles”, draws inspiration from the mysterious patterns appearing in cereal fields. This metal grid casts interlaced circular shadows on the ground.
· With whom?
Metalco, the global leader in urban furniture.
· Designer’s note:
“Let’s enclose spaces, but not creativity!”
